Best Remove.bg Alternatives: Top Free & HD Background Removers (2027)

Looking for the Best Remove.bg Alternatives?

For years, Remove.bg has been the default savior for anyone needing a quick transparent PNG. Whether you are setting up clean e-commerce product shots, designing a logo, or cutting out headshots, it simply works.

However, Remove.bg has a major catch: the free tier limits you to low-resolution preview files. If you want full-resolution HD downloads, you have to buy credits or subscribe. Also, it’s being shutdown from Dec 2026 after their Canva acquisition.

How to change Letsencrypt certbot HTTP-01 challenge to DNS-01 challenge for Cloudflare?

Why switch from HTTP-01 challenge to DNS-01 challenge?

I needed to change the challenge to fix a know issue while proxying the website via Cloudflare as part of my blog improvements.

Please refer the link above for more details, if you are in a hurry here’s the gist about the issue.

When you use Cloudflare to proxy the website and use Letsencrypt for generating the certificates, the certbot by default will use http-01 challenege and it will fail because of the IP difference between your Cloudflare proxied IP and the actual host machine IP.

How I made my blog Faster, Cheaper & Secure?

Little background

If you had visited my blog a few weeks back, it must have looked different, loaded slowly and there was a ton of crappy ads and it was having only basic security features.

Old setup

Before this transition, the blog was using a Self-hosted version of Wordpress on a 10 USD/month Digital Ocean droplet (2GB RAM, 1 CPU, 50GB SSD disk) served via an Apache server serving over https using free TLS (or as people generally say, SSL) certificates provided by LetsEncrypt.

Modi’s Foreign Policy with regards to India-China relations and its impacts on Taiwan

Modi’s Foreign Policy with regards to India-China relations and its impacts on Taiwan

India - China Relations overview

India & China has always remained competitive especially in the past few decades. However both being developing countries and major economies, they collaborate on a wide range of issues and show a united face in major forums but however, the relationship has its own share of issues.

China wants to topple the United States as the sole superpower and wants to take over the world and is using a mix of Economic, Military and historical strategies such as OBOR / BRI, CPEC, Gwadar Port, Hambantota Port, String of Pearls strategy, Nine-dash line, South China sea etc. These are major flash points between India & China, not to mention the border disputes simmering over many decades (Recent doklam dispute) and its continued support to India’s arch-rival and China’s all-weather friend Pakistan in providing Nuclear technology, missiles, and fighters etc.

I built an Attic for Chickens to lay eggs

I have built an attic for chickens to lay eggs in our Paravali farms during my last trip home. Now I can see, hens are using it to lay eggs on the designated containers.

Generally, chickens (Hens) prefer places which are higher and safer from predators to lay eggs but often times they lay eggs on top of improper structures resulting the egg falling on the ground and you know what happens to the egg thereafter (guess someone needs to teach the chickens about gravity, lol!). So in our farm, inside a hut, they have placed coconut leaves (or branches) in some sort of structure but it didn’t help as it was poorly constructed.
