Looking for the Best Remove.bg Alternatives?

For years, Remove.bg has been the default savior for anyone needing a quick transparent PNG. Whether you are setting up clean e-commerce product shots, designing a logo, or cutting out headshots, it simply works.

However, Remove.bg has a major catch: the free tier limits you to low-resolution preview files. If you want full-resolution HD downloads, you have to buy credits or subscribe. Also, it’s being shutdown from Dec 2026 after their Canva acquisition.

Why switch from HTTP-01 challenge to DNS-01 challenge?

I needed to change the challenge to fix a know issue while proxying the website via Cloudflare as part of my blog improvements.

Please refer the link above for more details, if you are in a hurry here’s the gist about the issue.

When you use Cloudflare to proxy the website and use Letsencrypt for generating the certificates, the certbot by default will use http-01 challenege and it will fail because of the IP difference between your Cloudflare proxied IP and the actual host machine IP.

In this article, we will see step-by-step instructions to setup AWS EC2 Instance Monitoring Alarms using AWS Cloudwatch and CloudWatch Agent. The purpose of this post is to create a unified guide document to implement CloudWatch alarms as I couldn’t find any such documents when I tried to implement this for the first time.

This guide is written with the basic assumption that you want to implement Cloudwatch alarms in Linux based operating systems and the instructions are given for Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 operating system, however, it will work for other Linux variants also but commands like “apt” or “apt-get” must be replaced with command like “yum” relevant to the operating system.

Modi’s Foreign Policy with regards to India-China relations and its impacts on Taiwan

India - China Relations overview

India & China has always remained competitive especially in the past few decades. However both being developing countries and major economies, they collaborate on a wide range of issues and show a united face in major forums but however, the relationship has its own share of issues.

China wants to topple the United States as the sole superpower and wants to take over the world and is using a mix of Economic, Military and historical strategies such as OBOR / BRI, CPEC, Gwadar Port, Hambantota Port, String of Pearls strategy, Nine-dash line, South China sea etc. These are major flash points between India & China, not to mention the border disputes simmering over many decades (Recent doklam dispute) and its continued support to India’s arch-rival and China’s all-weather friend Pakistan in providing Nuclear technology, missiles, and fighters etc.
